Meet John

John Lyons serves as the Vice President of Business Development for Anchor Insurance, where he specializes in providing risk management and insurance solutions for churches, nonprofits, Christian schools, independent school districts, and higher education institutions.

With more than six years of experience in business development and commercial insurance, John has built a reputation for helping mission-driven organizations protect what matters most while creating long-term strategies that reduce risk and control costs. His passion lies in understanding each organization's unique challenges and delivering customized insurance programs that support their mission and growth.

A native Texan and graduate of the University of Houston, John is deeply committed to serving his community and giving back to the industries he serves. He is the Past President of ELITE Dallas and was recognized as the ELITE Texan Young Agent of the Year in 2024 for his leadership and contributions to the insurance profession.

John's approach is simple: build genuine relationships, lead with integrity, and provide anchored protection that allows organizations to focus on making an impact. When he's not serving clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsey, and their two children.
