Paula Burns

Meet Paula

Paula Burns has been in the insurance industry for over four decades and earned her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 2009 and her CRM (Certified Risk Manager) designation in 2011. Her career began in property, and casualty claims laying the foundation for Paula to be a strong advocate for clients when they need her most during a claim or crisis. Since 1993, Paula has worked in the commercial insurance industry on the agency side. Her passion is partnering with organizations as their outsourced Risk Manager. Paula believes it is important to be part of the team before a crisis occurs, helping leadership teams develop a proactive culture toward risk management. Paula teaches classes nationally to insurance professionals, risk managers, and organizations. She serves as a Faculty Member of The National Alliance as a Ruble Professor, teaching advanced-level courses to insurance agents and risk managers throughout the country.
